Historical records show that spaghetti has been around for CENTURIES. Some ancient Romans may have eaten something similar to spaghetti, but we cannot be 100% certain because they didn't have cameras back then. What we DO know is that spaghetti became very popular in Italy and then spread to the rest of the world like a delicious, noodle-shaped wildfire.
FUN FACT: If you laid all the spaghetti eaten in one year end-to-end, it would create an incredibly long line! It's wild to think about!

Classic Spaghetti Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 box of spaghetti (the long kind)
- Water (enough to cover the spaghetti)
- Salt (for the water, not for eating by itself)
- Tomato sauce (red sauce, not green sauce)
- Love (optional but recommended)
Instructions:
- Boil the water. Make sure it's really hot!
- Put the spaghetti in the hot water. Be careful!
- Wait for 8-10 minutes. This is the hardest part.
- Drain the water out (keep the spaghetti!)
- Put sauce on top. Use a lot!
- Eat it! Yum!
